Art comes naturally to Ohioan Loni (Yolanda) Podiak. The daughter of an art director, she began painting at age six. As an adult, she studied art at the Dayton Art Institute and apprenticed for two years with artist Robert J. Smith, whose work has been displayed at several prominent museums.

For almost 45 years, Loni has captured the simple pleasures of life in both her paintings and her photographs. A lover of the Victorian era, Loni dwells in a 125-year-od home in a historic community. continue to page 2 »
